Deda Restaurant, an authentic   Georgian restaurant   in Pasadena, is seeking a skilled and passionate   Pizza Cook   to join our culinary team. We specialize in warm hospitality and high-quality dishes, including traditional Georgian flavors and our signature khachapury. The ideal candidate will bring both technical skill and creativity to the kitchen, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, stored properly, and handled according to food safety regulations
• Contribute to menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and seasonal specials
• Keep workstations clean and sanitized, maintaining an organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and smooth service
• Monitor ingredient inventory and inform management when supplies need replenishment
• Use proper knife skills and safe food handling practices
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with California standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pizza Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, dough preparation, and baking methods
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation best practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Passion for cooking and delivering exceptional dishes to guests
