Job Description

Dispatcher Transdev in Lancaster, California is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: CBA Position: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: + $21.07 - $22.89 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) + Starting pay $21.07 with progression to $22.89 over 4 years. Benefits include: + Vacation: 70 hours to 120 hours days per year Paid Sick Leave: All non-probationary dispatchers and customer service representatives who work thirty (30) or more days per year shall receive twenty-four (24) hours of sick leave on January + 1 of each calendar year.; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays. Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc. + Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips. + Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services. + Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service. + Other duties as required. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred. + 3-5 years' experience dispatching preferred + Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills. + Problem solving and analytical skills. + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements: + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
